Dr. Qammar N. Rashid received her undergraduate training at Fairfield University in Connecticut before obtaining a Masters of Science degree from Georgetown University. She completed her medical and surgical training at Howard University College of Medicine and Howard University Hospital.

Dr. Scott D. Steinberg is Medical Director of the Surgical Weight Loss Center at Dekalb Medical. Dr. Steinberg is a fellowship-trained advanced laparoscopic surgeon and has performed over 2,000 laparoscopic procedures for morbid obesity.
